Did you look up in February and think… wait, what happened in the golf world while I was living my life?

In this episode of The Bag Drop: Untold Stories in Golf, host Matt Considine and co-host Dr. Kevin Moore (a.k.a. “The Professor”) run a winter catch-up for those who may not follow every headline during their off-season.

The conversation dives into:
  •  Masters tickets getting tighter (and Augusta’s preference for quality control over cash)
  • LIV finally getting OWGR points — what it means, what it doesn’t, and where it goes next
  • TGL (and the broader indoor-golf boom) as golf’s new pop-culture front door
  • The golf ball rollback is getting punted again (new testing standards pushed to 2030)
  • The National Links Trust vs Trump situation in DC — and the fight for municipal golf’s future
  • USGA Green Section tech: AI + precision spraying that could reduce chemicals, cut costs, and improve sustainability
